Closed: Vehicle-related anti-social behaviour (ASB) Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) public consultation (20 November - 19 December 2025)
Great Yarmouth Borough Council is seeking your views on vehicle-related anti-social behaviour and the proposed extension and amendments to the current Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). This consultation aims to ensure our communities remain safe and enjoyable for everyone. Your feedback will help shape decisions on whether to extend the PSPO for three years, expand its coverage, and introduce additional measures to tackle nuisance behaviour. Please complete this short questionnaire and return it by 18th December 2025 to one of the Council offices listed at the end of the form.
Closed - Licensing Act 2003 - Cumulative Impact assessment (5 November 2025 - 16 January 2026)
Great Yarmouth Borough Council is considering introducing a new Cumulative Impact Assessment (CIA) for the Town centre and surrounding area under the Licensing Act 2003. This assessment looks at whether the number or concentration of licensed premises in the area is having, or could have, a negative impact on the local community.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council are proposing to install additional cameras in Great Yarmouth, to increase the public's feeling of safety by deterring antisocial behaviour. We are keen to hear from residents, businesses, community groups and sports clubs on what impact this change may have.

Under the Licensing Act 2003, licensing authorities are required to review their Licensing policy every five years. As our current policy expires on 6 January 2026 we need to review it and this includes completing a public consultation on the new document.
